Our Mad City Money program focuses on goal setting, budgeting, choosing the right savings and checking accounts, as well as credit and financial safety. This event is a hands-on budgeting simulation that gives students real-world experience. They go around and make choices on food, housing, transportation, etc, based on their income. They can be married, with children, or single and try to stay within budget. This allows the students to understand the choices they make and how it could affect their finances.
