Board Meetings
The board meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month and are held in conference room A at the Job Center. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The meetings start at 7pm.

General Monthly Meetings July 15th, Thursday, 6:00pm. It's time again for our Annual Ice Cream Social at Delco Park located at 1700 Woodman Center Drive in Kettering. There will be lots of fun things for the kids to do as well as play on the playground. MVDSA will provide fried chicken, beverages, and ice cream. If you plan on attending, we ask that you bring something to share. If your last name begins with A-M, please bring a Dessert or ice cream topping. If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a side dish. We look forward to seeing everyone and having a blast! August 19th, Thursday, 6:30pm at the Job Center: Details will be announced at a later date. September 16th: This Month's General Meeting will be a poster making party. Since we are having everyone make their own Walk of Achievement post boards this year for the Buddy Walk, this evening will be dedicated to making them if you haven't already done so by this time. MVDSA will provide the poster boards and supplies to help make them. All you need to bring are your pictures and information on your child that you would like to put on your poster board. If you would like to work on your poster board ahead of time, you can pick up a poster board in the office at the end of July. Please call the office to find out the office hours before coming. |

Mom's Night Out We would like to invite all moms & grandmas to join us. If you would like to be added to the MOMS email list, please contact the office. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.

DADS Group
(Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome) The DADS group meets 2nd Tuesday of each month. If you are a father of a child with Down Syndrome and are looking for a place to share your story or find others willing to share in the joy of fatherhood, please come join us. New Beginnings Play Group This group is for parents of children with Down syndrome, ages 0 - 5. All siblings are welcome to come join in the fun. We get together informally to share ideas and help our kids get to know each other. We meet every 2nd and 4th Friday from 12:30pm - 2:00pm at Living Word Church in Vandalia.
